Arguably one of the most famous early aircraft of World War II, the Junkers Ju-87 Stuka may not have been the most effective combat sight of the war, but it was certainly one of the most feared. Capable of providing sophisticated, precision bombing support to advancing Wehrmacht ground units, the Stuka heralded the onset of war and was therefore specifically designed to strike fear and confusion into enemy forces and the terrified civilian population at large. Attaching a shrill sound called the 'Jericha Trumpet' to one of the undercarriage bays of the Stuka's airframe only added to the aircraft's reputation, with its distinctive gullwings symbolizing the horrors of the Blitzkrieg! Although the Stuka proved vulnerable to modern RAF fighters during the Battle of Britain, it continued to play an important role during Operation Barbarossa, where its precision strikes were used to clear the way for the advance. units along the main front line.

This 3./StG.2 Stuka wears the standard camouflage of black/green and dark green instead of light blue, but has the winter plague correctly applied for added protection when operating in winter conditions. It also features a graphic design with an open mouth above the air cooler and an upper described as "Ghost Bones", making it the most distinctive weapon of the Stukas operating on the Eastern Front.
